The TAPA X-ALPS ultralight reserve parachute has been specially developed for Hike&Fly and X-Alps pilots where every gram counts. In addition to being a square spare, it weighs a paltry 784 grams at its smallest size, making it the ideal companion for pilots looking to perfect their lightweight rig.

TAPA X-ALPS is built symmetrically. This reduces the risk of incalculable drift on the one hand, while on the other hand the low sink rate is achieved through the surface and not through forward motion. Due to its construction, the tow has an extremely fast deployment time and high landing stability. These factors significantly increase your safety in a rescue landing.
