Step into the world of cinematic 360° video with the compact Insta30 X4 360° 8K Camera, which can shoot 8K30 360° video in dual or single-lens modes in a single portable action camera. The X4 offers an action-ready design with AI-powered software, as well as removable lens guards, up to 5K120 “Bullet Time” capture, and 11K time-lapse shooting for an intuitive approach to creating dynamic content in any environment. The X4 also features an updated rugged design, is inherently waterproof up to 33 inches (10 meters), and has an upgraded rechargeable 2290mAh battery for added runtime.

8K30 360° Video

The X4 features ultra-sharp 8K resolution, which is 78% more pixels than 5.7K for more detail and greater clarity, putting the reframed video on par with standard camera images to match edits more easily. Because images are captured with high-quality H.265 compression, 8K files are small enough to be edited using the Insta360 app or Insta360 Studio.

NOTE: Shooting at 8K consumes more power than lower resolutions. Shoot 8K only in bright daylight conditions; When shooting in low light, it is recommended to lower the capture resolution.

60 fps Capture and Throttling in Me Mode

The X4 supports up to 5.7K60 video for smooth footage in ultra-high resolution. The camera also supports up to 4K100 shooting for super slow-motion shots. There’s also Me Mode with an invisible selfie stick that records flat video with a 170° field of view, perfect for POV video. Me Mode supports slow-motion modes up to 4K30 and 2.7K120 with external compositing. 2.7When in 30K4 mode, the X4 supports in-camera merging with ready-to-share MP4 files.

The X4 uses AI PureShot to process 72MP photos from the camera, delivering high-quality, share-ready images with low-noise and high-quality color.

MegaView Viewing Angle

MegaView is a new field-of-view (FOV) option in app/Studio software that renders 360° video with less distortion at the edges for higher image quality overall. MegaView supports multiple aspect ratios, including 1:1, 9:16, 16:9, 4:3, 3:4, and 2:35:1.

4K60 Single Lens Mode Makes 2 Cameras in One

The X4 camera also functions as a wide-angle action camera, shooting with just one lens. This feature has been upgraded on the X4 to support 4K60 compared to previous models and supports a field of view of up to 170°.
